Mini Deep Cleaning Checklist [Peaceful Spaces]

Usually the last Friday of every month I deep clean the house. All in all, it takes me about 4 hours because I’m pretty good about my dailies and weekly upkeep of the house. (With the exception of laundry because laundry is the worst.)

I posted last week about it being “deep cleaning Friday”, posted it to Instagram, and that was it. Except I accidentally posted it to Facebook. When I checked Facebook Friday afternoon before I left for my set, I saw a good bit of folks asking for the checklist I mentioned in the caption.

I have a whole homekeeping binder that I’ve evolved over the last like 10 years of my marriage. I thrive off of checking a little box so I made my own binder where I could check off my to-dos with a dry erase marker and then “reset” my binder by erasing the marks. (Ooof. the dopamine I get from that, lol.) With the recent move it has taken me a good 3 months to figure out the ebs and flows of our home. It’s been a good opportunity to really find out what is missing from this list and what I can add to make sure our home is peaceful.

Anywho, back to the Facebook post that was originally meant for just Instagram. I love that so many of y’all wanted to also bring some peace to your home before the hullaballoo of the holidays come rushing before us. So here’s a little mini version of my deep cleaning checklist for your kitchen, dining, living room, and bathroom. There’s also a little spot for you to add what is unique to your home as well.

I’m going to be sharing more ways to bring peace to your home and more holiday hosting tips so if that’s your jam, drop your email down below and I’ll shoot you some of my favorite tips this season!
